BMI calculator
Calculation: weight in kilograms divided by height in metres squared. Mukti rounds the result to one decimal place. The adult calculator is for ages 20 and over; age and sex do not change this arithmetic. People under 20 need an appropriate growth assessment from a clinician.
Adult reference ranges: below 18.5 (below reference range), 18.5 to less than 25 (healthy range), 25 to less than 30 (above reference range), and 30 or above (high range). These correspond to the CDC adult categories. The displayed value is rounded to one decimal place before choosing its label.
